Owner

Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Phlebotomist

Empire Medical Certified in Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers

The Firm Medspa was founded in 2020 by Julie King in order to bring cutting-edge treatments to Colorado that typically launch first in major cities like NY and LA. After much research, Julie zeroed in on the best anti-aging treatments and new technologies that deliver inspiring results that literally turn back time.

Armed with the excitement of helping others achieve their aesthetic goals, Julie procured the very first Opus Plasma laser in Denver. In order to bring the very best treatment options to their clients, The Firm Medspa offers a variety of skin, body and wellness treatments, as well as top-of-the-line skincare products that will make you look and feel your very best!

Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Augustana College, IL as well as certifications and licenses in Colorado for esthetics, phlebotomy, chemical peels, and lasers.

Nicole Popken

Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Phlebotomist

Empire Medical Certified in Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers

Nicole is a licensed esthetician, laser technician, certified neurotoxin and dermal filler injectionist, and phlebotomist. Having attended multiple Nationwide pieces of training in laser and injectable techniques, her knowledge includes a wide variety of treatment options. Nicole is dedicated to understanding her clients’ concerns and focuses on maintaining natural beauty to help her clients feel more confident and to be the best version of themselves.

Being passionate about continuous improvement, she is always eager to implement new and more effective ways of fighting skin concerns with at-home skincare regimens and in-office treatment solutions.

Nicole regularly performs dermaplaning, chemical peels, customized facials, lash lifts, lash and brow tints, body waxing, and laser treatments.

Dr. Samir Hasan

Licensed Esthetician

Empire Medical Certified in Aesthetic Surgery

Dr. Hasan obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D) degree from the University of Texas in 2010. He proceeded to St. Louis for a residency program in plastic surgery. He completed a fellowship training at NYC, specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Hasan went on to work at the Shriner’s Burn Center for Children, where his passion for aesthetic surgery bloomed. Currently, Dr. Hasan is the Medical Director at the Firm Medspa where he puts his administrative skills and medical expertise into ensuring that clients receive the best of cosmetic management.

Dr. Hasan is a NYC fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with expertise in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. His journey into medicine began at the University of Texas in 2010. He developed a strong interest in plastic surgery while working alongside reconstructive plastic surgeons at the Shriner’s Burn Center for Children. After graduating from medical school, he completed an intense 6-year comprehensive integrated plastic surgery residency in St. Louis.  During residency, he developed a strong passion for aesthetic surgery and was hand-picked to undergo an additional year of aesthetic fellowship training in New York, operating in Manhattan and Long Island. As the Medical Director of The Firm Medspa, Dr. Hasan is dedicated to providing ongoing training and medical oversight to the team as he is passionate about helping provide improvements in appearance with natural-looking results.

Amanda Graus

Marketing and Administrative Assistant

Amanda is our Marketing and Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies.

She has worked with a number of national beauty brands including Benefit Cosmetics, Sugarbear Hair and GLO Minerals as a content creator. She loves combining her professional background and creativity with her passion of helping others feel their absolute best!

Amanda oversees all of our marketing efforts, collaborations, billing and payroll.

Mariah Medina

Esthetician

Mariah received her Esthetician license after graduating from the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics. She is passionate about skin care and has certifications in dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and cosmetic lasers. Helping people feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident in their own skin is her priority. 

As someone who has struggled with acne and skin issues herself, she knows firsthand the effect that can have on ones confidence.

Mariah regularly performs facials, foot and ear reflexology, body treatments, back facials, gua sha massage, jade roller lymphatic drainage massage, waxing, lash lifts, brow laminations, brow & lash tints, lip treatments, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, lasers, and microneedling.
